Kuva participating in the panel session entitled "Evaluation Of Cost Effective IOT Technology & Edge Devices For Continuous Monitoring Of Fugitive Emissions"
In early November, the Biden administration announced that it would heavily regulate methane emitted from oil and natural gas operations. As part of the Global Methane Pledge agreed at the recent COP26 Climate Conference, the Environmental Protection Agency will limit methane emissions from oil and gas sites across the United States. In response, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed new methane regulations 86 FR 63110 that are far reaching and will have a major impact on upstream and midstream oil and gas operations.
At Kuva, we are utilizing our #continuousOGI to allow operators to see their process equipment with a colorized view of the methane plume, as well as the piece of equipment, or component, from which the gas is emitting.
Kuva Systems will be exhibiting and participating at the Onshore Wellsite Automation Congress in Houston, and streaming, Jan 25-27 at The Westin Galleria where our very own Robert Ward will participate in the panel session entitled "Evaluation Of Cost Effective IOT Technology & Edge Devices For Continuous Monitoring Of Fugitive Emissions" along with Prabhat Behera, BE, MBA, PGP(AI/ML) of Oxy and Richard Bost of Astra-I2M Environmental. (currently scheduled Day 3/Jan 27 session 11:20)
