Check out this latest video of our Director of Business Development, Monica Sippola as she discusses Kuva’s collaboration with Marathon Oil, with their Environmental Supervisor, Dana Wood.
Prior to working with Kuva, Marathon has been doing traditional leak detection with handheld optical gas imaging cameras and flyovers. They began exploring continuous monitoring options to be able to better understand the cause of their methane leaks and see how they could reduce them further and set themselves up to meet corporate ESG goals.
Kuva installed its proprietary shortwave infrared camera and cloud monitoring solution, allowing Marathon to receive alerts upon detection, visual confirmation of leaks, and access to reporting.
